JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – State-owned cement producer, PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (IDX: SMGR) and its subsidiary, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk. (IDX: SMCB) signed a joint partnership agreement with an investor from Japan, Taiheiyo Cement Corporation on Dec. 8. With the partnership, is expected to improve their cement production and its derivative products and will export to the partner. On April 21, Taiheiyo has injected US$220 million into Solusi Bangun Indonesia through a rights issue scheme and hold 15 percent shares of SMCB.
